What people are saying about us

Sue Barclay
Sue Barclay Prince Edward County Arts Council
Eight years ago my husband Sam and I responded to a tiny ad in the Gazette asking for volunteers for a new Arts Council venture – what was to be called the Eastern Ontario Photo Show.  We worked that year with Dave Boorne, who had agreed to launch this project and several talented photographers.  The only two people on the committee who know nothing about photography were Dave and myself!  And so began what eight years later would be the highly successful CLiC!  I remember discussions in that first year about whether we would get any submissions and we were thrilled with the response. That response continues to grow!  Every year more photographers enter and the quality of work just gets better and better.

As chair of the Prince Edward County Arts Council I am so proud of what a dedicated group of individuals has brought to Eastern Ontario as a showcase of photographic excellence and am thrilled that the CLiC Photo Show is housed here in the County.

I’m looking forward to another fabulous show!!

Now seven years old, CLiC Photo Show continues to get bigger and better each year.  The number and quality of photographers in Eastern Ontario is amazing; the images submitted are beautiful, passionate and thought-provoking.

The variety in age and experience among the photographers brings a wonderful diversity to the entrants and the show.

This is a must enter for photographers, and a must see for visitors to Prince Edward County.

Every spring since 2010 I have eagerly anticipated preparing my entries for CLiC, eastern Ontario’s premier photography Show & Sale.

I’ve submitted photographs every year and every year I’ve been privileged to have images accepted.  But participating in CLiC is more than just getting images accepted.

CliC offers the opportunity for photographers of all ages and all experience levels to have their work evaluated by judges and, if accepted, an opportunity to meet with other photographers at the awards ceremony on opening night.

Additionally, photographers and their images benefit from the excellent and accessible gallery space provided by Books & Company.

I’m getting ready to submit my work – and I hope to see you there!
